T'was the night before...

United States Grand Prix!

The race weekend is finally here, everything about my travel and parking and tickets is settled. On Friday, I'll travel with Jeff Norem, my stick-playing musician buddy whom I just found out is an F1 fanatic and Ayrton Senna devotee. When the Friday ticket came available I called Jeff. Saturday my girlfriend Heidii will come with, and on sunday for the F1 race my son Christopher will come with me.

We'll see a Porsche 911 GTCup car challenge, the Historic Grand Prix, the Ferrari Challenge as well as Formula 1 on Sunday.

The track, Circuit of the Americas is brand new, finished in a little over a year for around $225M.
